The Riptide Dash is one of the most exciting days of the year at St. Stephen Catholic School, bringing together students, families, and the community for a day full of energy, teamwork, and school spirit. More than just a fun event, the Riptide Dash is our largest annual fundraiser, helping us continue to provide an exceptional educational experience for every student.
On Friday, April 24, 2026, students will take part in a school-day event where they run and walk laps while raising funds that directly support classroom enhancements, technology upgrades, and building improvements.
Every student who participates will also receive a Riptide Dash/Field Day T-shirt, made possible thanks to our generous community sponsors.
How to Support
Donate Online
Each student has their own personal fundraising page, making it simple for friends and family to contribute. Every donation brings us closer to our school-wide goal of $65,000.
Share the Fun
Fundraising success grows with visibility. Share your student’s page on social media, send it to family and friends, and help spread the word. The more people who see it, the more support we can generate for our school.
Corporate Matching
Many companies offer donation matching programs that can double your impact. If your employer participates, reach out to Mary McKernan at mmckernan@ssschool.org for a matching gift letter.

Tidal Challenge
Every student who raises at least $5 contributes to their class earning a donut breakfast! Classes compete to have 100% participation by April 10.
Extra Fun
- Raffle prizes for every $50 raised
- Top student in each class chooses a class prize
- Top 3 overall fundraisers earn shopping sprees ($300, $200, $100)
- If we reach our goal of $65,000, the entire school will celebrate with a movie theater experience!
