Prayer & Retreats at St. Stephen School
On a Sunday in mid-December, pre-school and kindergarten grades participate in the nativity celebration, wearing costumes and singing carols. Families are invited to attend.
School and parish families are invited to participate in a community Cross Walk held every year on Good Friday. Members of several local churches take turns carrying a life size cross, reading scripture, and singing. The Cross Walk begins in the early afternoon at Franklinville Presbyterian Church on Franklinville Road and ends at St Stephen. Stations of the Cross follow the Cross Walk at St. Stephen Church for those who choose to stay.
In May, students celebrate the crowning of the Blessed Mother, a Catholic ritual honoring the Virgin Mary. Parents are invited to attend as students participate in a procession and Mass.
