B.A. Secondary Education & Theology

Hello! I am very excited to be teaching science here at St. Stephen School. My appreciation for God's creations and love of science began as a child. My siblings and I were blessed with learning how to care for many animals including two miniature cows, a potbellied pig, a goat, long eared rabbits, and a few dogs. I have also seen many advances over the years in science, especially in the medical field, some of which have saved my life. I received my Bachelor’s degree in both Secondary Education and Theology at De Sales University in Center Valley. I am currently on the tail end of attaining my certification in grades 1-6. I have taught 10 years in high school, third grade, and most recently, middle school science. I have been teaching online English to students in China in the wee hours of the morning for the past year and a half and I absolutely love it and my students! The connections I have made half-way across the world have been amazing!

I currently live in Perry Hall with my amazing husband, Gary who is a commander in the U.S. Navy. We have been married for almost 18 years and have a son, Tyler, who is in the fourth grade at St. Stephen School. Our Australian labradoodle, Cora, is my best pal and hiking buddy.

Fun Facts: I love coffee!! I have run many marathons including the NYC Marathon, NCR trail, and Boston Marathon.
